Amber Kellogg has been immersed in the world of rhythm and movement for most of her life, developing a deep passion for tap and a natural gift for musicality. She joined the DV8 family as the studio’s lead tap instructor, where she is known for her creativity, patience, and ability to help dancers discover their own sound and confidence. Amber believes tap is more than technique—it’s storytelling through rhythm—and she brings that philosophy to every class she teaches.

Throughout her career, Amber has performed on a variety of stages, showcasing her musicality in exciting and memorable ways. She opened for the Radio City Rockettes in Raleigh–Durham, North Carolina, and performed in the Coca-Cola Show at the State Fair of Texas, where she combined her love of dance and music in front of large audiences. In addition to her performance experience, Amber serves as a competitive dance judge, offering thoughtful and encouraging feedback that helps dancers grow with authenticity and joy.

At DV8, Amber plays an active role in company rehearsals and frequently steps in to substitute for a variety of styles, always bringing her enthusiasm and willingness to connect with more dancers. She focuses on building strong technical foundations while encouraging creativity, teamwork, and self-expression—values she believes fuel every great performer.

When she’s not in the studio, Amber loves spending time with family and friends, exploring new coffee shops and restaurants, and enjoying live music around town. Her passion for dance, commitment to her students, and joyful approach to teaching make her an inspiring and cherished member of the DV8 team.
